SWEties

SWEties is our Mentor-Mentee Program. Our aim is to connect and foster a community of women in STEM that reaches across the different ages and years at Stevens. This program takes place in the fall where we connect the underclassmen applicant with upperclassmen applicants and allow them to get to know each other better through our SWEtie social events.

Leadership Pipeline

The Leadership Pipeline Program (LPP) is designed to help foster the next generation of SWE leadership. Underclassmen apply to this program in the fall indicating which aspect of the leadership board they are most interested in learning about. Then the selected applicants are assigned to shadow one of the current E-Board members. The LPP students attend E-Board meetings and explore the duties of their mentor's position. LPP students are often elected to the E-Board in the year following their LPP year due to the leadership experience they gain during the program.

SWE Confrence

SWE’s Annual Conference is the premier event for women in engineering and technology. SWE’s conference includes a career fair, dynamic keynote speakers, numerous networking opportunities, and 200+ workshops and presentations. The engaging and informative sessions are exceptional professional and personal development tools for both working engineers and engineering students. Moreover, SWE’s conference is dedicated to helping women engineering students’ transition into the corporate world by providing training, guidance and access to career opportunities both in academia and industry.
